Alice Toll writes the following about The Case of the Firecrackers :

I thought this book was okay because at the beginning it was boring, but towards the middle I thought that it got better. I really like how the characters roamed around Chinatown and the Tenderloin because you were able to see different places throughout San Francisco. Go SF!!!
