Someone To Love Me is the last book of Anne Scharff's series. In my opinion, this novel has out ranked the others that I have read. This novle was very dramatic in a gloomy and dark way. It deals with drugs,love and abuse. Even though myself could not' relate to this book, I continued to find it enjoyable to read. I would recommend this book to those who loves to read dramatic novel's. This novel covers the three main troubles teens are fimiliar with; love,drugs and abuse. The book makes you see and think differently of what you see in people and how you value friendships. A brief summary of this book is very detailed. A freshman at Bulford High named Cindy,struggles with the neglect of her mother. Cindy's mother falls in love with a two-timing drug dealer, who treat's cindy badly. Her mother would rather leave cindy alone than be with her. Cindy also skip's school until her friend Jamie pulls her along the way. At Bulford High is where she meets Bobby Wallace who happens to be Jamie's ex-boyfriend. Bobby is no good because he lies to Cindy telling her that he is not into drugs. Maybe drugs is the reason for Bobby's mood swings. With him Cindy experiences something that she will never forget. A quote from this book that explains the main idea is(The Lord will see us through, pg.22).This quote relates to the main idea because it states what help's Cindy's family pull through there struggle.I rate this book a 10 because it is so touching and heart warming. If i could change the endinf of this book, it would end happily instead of it keeping the readers guesing for more.
