Monkeyman writes the following about Tuck Everlasting :
I thought Tuck Everlasting was slow, didn?t have much action, and was kind of boring but it was a good story. I didn?t like it very much because I like books with action or books that are funny. It was a fantasy story about a family who could live forever. It starts out with a little girl named Winnie Foster who cannot leave her yard so she runs away into her family?s woods. There she finds a boy who is seventeen and is drinking water from under some rocks that are under a tree. She asks if she can have some and he says no it?s dirty. She says she doesn?t care and she wants a drink. Then a woman and a young man join the boy and they all take her away on their horse. They say they are sorry but they need to do this. They travel far away and when take a break they tell her their names. The boy?s name was Jesse Tuck and the woman?s was Mae Tuck and the young man?s was Miles Tuck. They told her they could live forever because they drank the spring water. But a strange man in a yellow suit heard it all and wants to sell the water and get rich. To find out what happens next read Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.
