chrislan writes the following about midnighters , vol.2 touching darkness :
I liked midnighters because it was a group of teens who had a wole hour to them selves ,but as in most books there was a twist but the twist only made it better .There was dess she could figure out any math problem in the world jus by thinking about numbers not to mention she loves numbers. There is also rex and melissa who are really close to each other . Melissa is psycic and so anything a live she touches it over whelms her with there feelings and she is very controling anyways at the end they find an elder like her who touches her and gives the right information to be able to touch people.Rex omn the other hand can see traces of where the darklings have been and he can also read there lore, but towards the end he was temporaraly changed into a darkling which is called a halfling ,after being rescued he now can see traces where humans have been. the reason that happens is because darklings use to hunt down humans for dinner before technology advanced. Now jessica and johnathon were like love at first sight .jessica has the power to bring technology into the blue time and is the most powerful midnighter if themall but in fact they all use each other to fight off darlings .Then there is johnathon he eats alot and he can fly and he is very good at physics. In the end they end up helping each other save rex there good friend who is more of a help than they really admit.this is only a little about this book but i promise if you like science fiction books you'll like this book.
