Among the Hidden, the last book in the series by Margaret Petersen Haddix. it's about Luke, a third child, linving in the days when it was illegal to have three children. One day he is to go on a mission but he never gets it done he escapes from the population police and while he is lokking for shelter lots of population police members and he is to be hiding for the rest of his whole life. Then he said that he would have to do something about if he ever wanted to be free, so he goes out to look for the headquarters of the population police but during his journeyhe encounters lots of problems like being chase by police men. when he arrives at a little town all the people there seem to be fine like if nothing had happen. Then he sees a boy coming towards him and tells him that the population police had no poweranymore. Then luke still thinks there's someting wrong so he keeps gooing where he was going to the first place. when he arrives he sees a mob happily celebrating and there's somebody talking in a stage when he listens he hears the person talking about all the bad things the population police did. Then he said if it really was over then I should tell my story. He talks to the guard and they don't let him in stage then he gets a chance and he jumps. While on the top of the stage he graddeb a microphone and starts telling all the story of how the population police had taken him away from his family, of how they had killed his best friend, and how they took his freedom away. In the end everything goes back to normal and he becomes free. This book is awesome because it keeps you going but there are parts that are boring.
