Chessington writes the following about A MATTER OF TRUST :
A Matter of Trust is a high school love drama. It can relate to most teens and their issues they might meet in high school. It was very interseting to read a novel that i can realte to. Most novels are not like this, so they do not meet my standards. This novel also had alot of conflict be tween to lovers and an ex-besfriend.I would defenitly recommend this book to a teen reader.I think that they would enjoy it very much. It also might encourage them to read the sequal to this novel or others like it. A quote from this novel that shows the concept of it is"Sometimes when things are not going great and a temptation comes to a person,it is so powerful".The enemy,Darcy's father, qutoed this trying to explain his reasoning of his fault in the past. A brief plot summary of this love journey would be a young girl named Darcy who has to try her best to please everyone else instead of focusing on herself. Darcy has to over come obsatcles with keeping her stuttering boyfreind,Hakeem, out of arms reach of her ex-bestfriend Brisana. Brisan tries to get revenge on Darcy for choosing other friends over her. She also has to over come the shock of seeing her father for the very first time since he left the family some years ago. My rating of this book would bee an 8 because of the situations and drama in this book. To make this story better i would have personaly made more drama between Darcy and Hakeem. My overall judgement of this book is fantastic and more books should be written on reality. By:Chessington Marshall
