Crash is a book about a boy named John Coogan.John's nickname is Crash Coogan.He got his nickname from his uncle.His uncle gave him that nickname,because on Christmas he got a football hellmet.When he put his hellmet on he went down like a football player and said twenty-four hut hut and ran straight in to his cousin Bridgett knocking her in to the snow. My favorite part about the book Crash is his Junior High dance six years later.At his dance there is a girl that he likes.Her name is Jane Forbes, and she is a cheerleader.But,the part is when they are at the dance and he grabs her hand tight so she will not let go so she kicks him in the heel.She said"If you ever touch me again I will scream."He said"If you kick me again you will not have a mouth to scream with." I thought it was funny because they kept glaring at each other but they were playing around. At the end of the story Crashes grandfather Scooter has a stroke.He can not say a lot except for he uses a bye for everything.Then Penn Webb brings a package, and sets it inside then leaves.Crash reads the note,and saw what he brought over.He also becomes best friends with Penn Webb,and gets invited to Jane Forbes party.
