N.Lacey3 writes the following about Hoot :
HOOT is a story about 3 kids who want to save the lives of owls. The story was written with vivid details. The feelings of the characters were expressed throughout their dialogue. This book should be read by all ages because it shows how life lessons can effect any age group. The relationships amongst the children in the novel can be like any new friendship; it may be distant at first and a stronger bond builds toward the end because of a common goal. The characters in the story showed strength through the organization of ideas to achieve their ultimate goal. HOOT is a homespun story with laughter and familiarity and great book for the beach!
