unknown writes the following about Stargirl :
"'i pledge allegiance to the united turtles of america and to fruit bats of borneo, one planet in the milky way, incredible, with black bean burritos for all.' Hand written across the bottom were the words 'this is the way she says the pledge every morning.' No one had to say who 'she' was."
Stargirl was new. Stargirl was a Fresh face. But most of all, Stargirl was different. Very different. The book, Stargirl, was told from the point of view of a high school boy, named Leo Borlock. Stargirl captures his heart, and the rest of mica highs attention as she takes over with her crazy antics. She is just what "clone high" needs. ANTI-CONFORMITY! Shes everything they wanted, and then, hated. She is quickly yesterdays news.
All in all, this book was awesome! The 1st person view is great, Leo is just wonderful! i give this book a definete 10 out of 10.
