bond007 writes the following about Bridge to Terabithia :
The book I have chosen to review is Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. Bridge to Terabithia is a book about a friendship and an amazing amaginary world. This imaginary world is the highliht of a country boy called jess's life.

Jess meets his new neighbour, and doesn't think much of her.at first he can not tell whether she is a boy or a girl. he finally decides that she is a girl. her name is Leslie and she has short hair, patched up jeans and a baggy shirt.

Leslie comes from a wealthy city family who wish for a change, and thats why they moved to Jess's old, yet beautiful, country town.

One day jess and leslie go into the forest together, where Leslie decides to invent a magical place. She names it Terabithia, and crowns her and Jessthe king and queen of this mistical world.
Every afternoon Leslie and Jess go to Terabithia to do things such as fight imaginary villians or just sit in the kingdom and relax.

On Leslie's birthday, Jess buys her a dog. They name it Prince Terrien, or P.T. fot short. P.T. is the prince of Terabithia.

One day, giants invade Terabithia and Jess and Leslie eventually defeat them. They go to 'The Groves' to give their thanks to God for their victory.

Jess wakes up one morning and Miss Edmunds, the teacher he has a massive crushon, is at the door. She takes him to Washington to see the massive museum. When he gets back, he discovers something horrific happened including the rope he and Leslie swung across. It had snapped.

The snapping of the rope, and the tradgedy caused by, it forces Jess to build a bridge. The Bridge to Terabithia.

I found this book to be a bit stretched out. It was not very interesting until the last few pages. It made me feel kind of sad for Jess after the tradgedy occurred. I gave this book a six out of ten and would reccomend it to people who enjoy stories about great friendship.
