Eric writes the following about Tangerine :
Tangerine, a strange place where 12 year old Paul Fisher moves to from his old town in Texas, is full of surprises. Here, lightning strikes to town's football field every day at 4:00, underground fires burn for years, and a sinkhole swallows Paul's School. Paul is legally blind, so he can see pretty well, but is handicapped. cruel older brother who is trying his hardest to complete the Erik Fisher Football Dream, the dream that his father is egging him on to accomplish. Paul joins the Tangerine Middle soccer team, where he meets new friends and finds the truth out about the secrets that his family have been keeping from him for years. In Tangerine County, it seems like anything is possible......

This book is a great read, even though it is not very fast paced. It is an interesting stroyline, but will not appeal as much to people that love fast paced adventurous books like me. This is why I give it a 8.8
