blackjoo writes the following about Things Not Seen :
Bobby Phillips is the son of a literature professor and a scientist who smash atoms for a living. He goes to the typical private high school where he has friends but not too many. Seems normal enough until he wakes up one morning and can't see himself in the mirror.
Sounds impossible until you know that this isn't a dream and he can't wake up. Along for the ride is a blind girl (go figure, right?) and her familly that amazingly hold this secret in and don't sell him off to the press.
What makes this story so good is that it's realistic. No mad scientist accidents, thunderstorms, or parents that aren't freaked out by the whole experience. Good news is, Bobby does return to the... (is there a such thing?) visible world. Read the book to find out more.
