Dogs82 writes the following about Hoot :
Hoot is about a boy called Roy Eberhardt. He and his family moved alot so he was used to being the new kid. One day on his way to school a bully called Dana mashed his head on the school bus window and then he saw him. Runing away from the school bus wasd a boy. He was runing faster then anyone he had ever seen, even faster then his friend Richard back in Montana. Richard was so fast when he was in 7th grade he got to work out with the high school track team. If it had not Been for Dana Roy would never have seen the boy. You never really find out the boy's real name but his nickname is mullet fingers. To find out why he is called that you will have to read the book.
