Jake Myers writes the following about Hoops :

Hoops is a great book. It is about a 17 year old basketball player named Lonnie Jackson. He is an amazing player and is opn the Harlem Globetrotters. His coach, Cal, get drunk and is taken home by the cops most of the time. That is how Cal and Lonnie meet. Read to find out how Lonnie does in the tournament of champions.
