Farewell to Manzanar was a good book but not the kind of book you want for adventure book seekers.It has its ups and downs there was not really that much adventure and excitement.I personally thought it wasn't a attention grabber.I personally wouldn't pick it off the shelf for myself if I didn't have to. Some parts were really interesting and some were well boring.Every body's opinions are different though.The story is alot more interesting than it's worded.I think it would be alot better shorter than a novel.More like a childrens story.
