This book is about a girl who got dignosed with leukemia, and meet a girl named sandy who turns out to be her room mate. Sandy is the only one who really understands what shes going through. After a while they both get sent home cured! and they go to this camp for kids with cancer and meet 2 boys named mike and greg, they all become really good friends but then camp is over so they all stay in touch. but then dawn finds out that sandy has gotten very sick and has to go to mexico for a while. Dawn is so worried about her, after a few weeks Dawn gets a telegram from sandy's parents they had lost sandy at 10am and wanted dawn to have somethings of hers...dawn couldnt belive it all that pain and shes gone!!! Dawn has to go back to the hospital to get checked will she have to fight for he life again? will she do it for Sandy find out when you get the book 6 Months to live......Ireally liked this book because you could picture everything so well in your head thats happening an even knowing i cried a bit in it you feel like your the one with cancer and fighting for your life so i really like this book and you could too jut remember...6 Months to live by Lurlene Mcdaniels
