Walk Two Moons is a really good book that entertains you. The main character in this book is a girl named Sal.
Sal is a girl who lives on a farm in Bybanks,Kentucky. One day Sal's mom leaves her family for personal reasons and moves to Idaho. Sal and her dad rent out their farm and move to Euclid,Ohio. When they arive in Ohio there is a big journey ahead of Sal and her dad. Sal and her grandparents go on a long journey to suprise Sal's mom on her birthday and bring her back home. The journey was difficult and painful for Sal, especially when she arrives in Idaho.
The theme for this book Walk Two Moons is family, because it is about Sal's family and Phoebe's family. Walk Two Moons is a realistic fiction book. One thing that I would have done to have improved this book would be to change the perspective of the characters, and not switch back and forth between Sal and her grandparents to Sal and Phoebe. I really was enthusiastic when I read the first chapter. Walk Two Moons was a great book that you would never want to put down! All over the book is different settings and action. This book would be a great book for a boy or girl to read between the ages of 11-13.
I really enjoyed this book, and I HOPE that you would take time out of your day to go to the library to check this book out. Trust me you are going to love reading this book!
