Madi4112 writes the following about The Watson's Go to Birmingham- 1963 :
I really like this book. It's amazing, and it reveals how the African American life in the 1960's.I enjoy Byron's rebellious personality.
If I were a teacher, I would not hesitate to make this book an assignment.I also enjoy Kenneth's "personal savior" Rufus Fry.
The story is told by 10 year old Kenneth.During the beginning,I really enjoy when Byron's lips get stuck to the "Brown Bomber".
Read this book,it's awesome!
