a non-wave member writes the following about The Wave :
it was an interessting book, is shows me that i am an individual and that it is great to be one! i should never let a groups will rule over my individual rights. the book shocked me a little bit, because it shows how easily a big group can follow just one leader, without really knowing why. it is sad to realize that something like in the Nazi area could happen again. but i think if everyone read this book then sth like in nazi area will never happen again. you know that the book tells a true story and this shocks you, so you will learn a lesson with this book, like all the students that were involved in this story. you wont really learn the lesson like they learned it, but you will have to think about it. and i love books that makes you think about things, so i think this is an great book. if it wasnt for my english teacher i wouldnt have read it, but im glad that we have read it, because i was really, yeah, you can say fascinated about it.
