John writes the following about A Series Of Unfortonate Events :
Violet,Klaus, and Sunny are brothers and sisters. One day while they were at the beach, their house caught on fire and both of their parents died.So the go to an orphanige, and their guardian wants to kill all of them but Sunny to get the Bauldilaire Fortune. They find out about their guardian trying to get the fortune. They decide to run away and take care of themselves. They needed some money so they go to this carnival. They dress up as carnies to get into the House of Greaks. They get in and had to make their beds. When they woke up they heard that one of their parents survived the fire that happened a few months ago. They didn't know if it was true so they go into a fortune telling tent, but the fortune teller wasn't there. The Bauldilaires start looking around and find a paper that said the one Bauldilaire parent survived the fire and are hiding in the Mortmain Mountains, and on the back there was a map of the Mortmain Mountains. They leave the tent. When they got out Violet finds a broken down roller coaster. The Bauldilaires try to fix the roller coaster to make it so they can go up the Mortmain Mountains and find their parent that survived the fire. The book was long, but i liked it. I liked the part when they found out about their parent surviving the fire. This is the 9th book out of 13. The books are pretty long, but some are worth reading.
