Steffanie and Karissa writes the following about Stargirl :

This book can teach many important life lessons. Such as not to take life for granted and to live like there is no tomorrow. It is about a girl who doesn't care about what others think of her and has her own special ways for doing many things. She thinks everyone is equal and should be treadted that way. Beacuse she does this she is looked at differently than others but continues on living her same, different, caring life until one day when she never comes back.
