Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor is an excellent and exciting book written during the 1930's. It has adventures, fights, and a lot of historical truths. It teaches about how racism affects people on both sides, and shows how we should really treat one another. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes to read. It is well written and exciting, and changed my view about racism.
