i had to choose a book to read for english last year. i am not a very big reader, actually i hate reading, and after about two weeks of searchering for a book i might actually enjoy, i found "she said yes".
at first i was abit strange about reading it, because im not a very religious person and from what i had heard it was a mother's story about her daughter's faith in god and about her terrible death.
but after forcing myself to reader the first couple of chapters i relised there was more to it then just that. it is the overwhelming story of the struggles of a teenagers life, depression, hanging around with "the wrong people".... and her unfortunate death during a high school rampage. the book is eye opening to everyone, not just teens, i asked my mum to read it after i had finished, she liked it just as much as i did. the book is very indepth with the detail of the events that happened leading up to the death of cassie, and the after shock that her family and friends had. it is a good read and although it may not be for everyone, you should give it a go.
