Syd Da Kid writes the following about The Gift of the Girl who couldnt Hear :
I just read the Gift of the Girl who couldnt Hear by Susan Shreve.I would rate this book a 2 out of 10 because there are no illustrations so you can't tell what the person looks like.It was also very predictable from the begining. I didnt really like that Eliza always said she wanted to die.It was so annoying!!! Some of the good things were that it was a little just a little funny.Like the part when she says her hips grew to the size of locomotives and the part when she says her hair looked like a poodle. The summary of the book is about a girl named Eliza who has a deaf friend named Lucy. The problem is that Eliza cant bring herself to signup for the play. Some things I would change would be that Lucy gets the part of Annie and Eliza gets the part of Miss Hanigan because she was a little mean in the story. So I guess thats all Ive got to say.So that was my Book Review.
