Emily writes the following about Here Today :
Here Today By: Emily Everyone has gone through changes at one point in their life, but Ellie, the main character in Here Today, feels like the whole world is changing at one time. As Ellie watches her mother, Doris, speed through the store as Ms. Bosetti Beauty, she knows life ahead is dangerous. The author, Ann M. Martin filled this book full of action and love, as well as sad moments throughout the book, such as when Doris forgets about her family and doesn?t care to write to them when she is away. As Doris?s children, Ellie, Albert, and Marie fight to get their mother back, Ellie comes up with a plan of her own, and it?s a desperate one! Ann M. Martin explains throughout the book, the passion between the mother and daughter. Here Today is a great, lesson-learning book that everyone would enjoy reading.
