Maggie Ryan writes the following about Number the Stars :
▓I thought this was a pretty good book. My ?favorite? character was the miniature chatterbox ♥Kirsti♥. If we hadn't read it in school in a literature sort of group, I still would have read it. I reccomend this book to people who read all the details and don't skim because it seems really boring unless you read ALL the details.
The book is focused on a young person named Anniemarie during World War II and the time when the Nazis were capturing Jews. Anniemarie's best friend Ellen Rosen is Jewish. Can Anniemarie protect her best friend?
Anniemarie must be brave, and sometimes bravery means not knowing everything.▓
