the book was very interesting and sad. the book is about the surival of a little boy who's mom hits him also she likes treats him like cyderella. at frist the mom was really nice agot crazy nd pretty. untill she got crazy and started to hit him and to be nice to his brothers instead of him .his dad useto play with him untill he left because his mom an dad kept on fighting.it looked like the mom had mental probliems because she would make him eat his vomit,trash,left overs, and some nasty stuff .the mom would make him bleed and once she burned him in the stove because she says that "this is how u make me go to hell" the teachers notice that he had burises and called his mom but she told them that he is crazy an da bad boy ,but he never did anything.that is what the book is mostly about.
