JerilynI.S.B writes the following about Among the Hidden :
Among the Hidden is a book about a boy who is the third child in his family in a place where there is a law that parents can only have two children. Luke has never met anybody except his parents and his two older brothers. He used to be able go outside but when houses started being built where his family lived he was forced to stay inside. One day he sees a girl?s face by the window where he knows two other children already live! Will this desperate child risk his life to see this other child? Find out in the book! I think this book?s main message is that no matter how alone you think you are there is always someone out there like you who will understand what you feel. I love this book because I can almost feel how Luke feels when he is so desperate to go out yet, scared that he won?t fit in! That is how I feel when I try something new! I recommend this book because this book is so thrilling and exiting!
