Nicole writes the following about She Said Yes :
The book was very heart hitting. It made you really take a step back and rethink your life and how you do things. It relaly showed many things that teenagers take for granted and how one day it all could be over. It showed how the loved ones of cassie bernall were going through durning the time of the shootings at Columbine. I thought that it showed how much a family and friends life can be changed dramatically by one day. This book shoed the struggle that a teen went through in the days of trying to fit in and be normal. The turn around that cassie had near teh end of the book was very surreal and it really did make the whole thing seem very real. It showed how one moment in your life can really change things for the better and for the worst. The part in the book that really struck a chord with me and yes made me cry was when the shotings took place and how much Cassie had changed at that point, i mean she was taking a major step in the right direction, she had good friend, a better family life, and was trying to do better in school. It just showed how quick it can all end and it seemed very unreal to think about. i know that i will remember this book for the rest of my life and it is really is making me rethink some of my decisions that i have made in my life and how i live it.
