The book '' Becoming Naomi Leon'' By PAm Munoz Ryan. Is about a girl named Naomi Soledad Leon Outlaw. She lived with her grandma and her younger brother Own because their mom abandond them when they were little. One day their mom came back and wanted to take Esperanza with her and leave Owen with the Grandma. Tring to run away Esperanza, Owen, Grandma and some of grandmas friends went to Mexico for a couple of days so they can escape the mom. When they go back to California their mom sends them to court to see who keeps the kids. If you want to find out who keeps Esperanza and her brother read the book.
