dulce16 writes the following about Hatchet [UNABRIDGED] :
Suddenly the pilot falls back. He?s having a heart attack. Brian is stuck. Would it be scary to be stuck on a flying plane? Will he survive?

The premise of Hachet. Brian is a middle-aged boy. His parents are divorced and he is going to visit his dad in the wilderness. During the flight the pilot shows him how to fly the plain. Then suddenly the pilot falls back and Brian notices the pilot is having a heart attack. Brian is scared! He has now idea what to do. After a while Brian remembers the pilot shows him how to fly the plain. So Brian is going to land the plain. He finds a open place to land. Will he survive?

I chose this book because I wanted to find out how a boy cane survive in the wilderness with only a hachet but it ended up not very good. One reason why was because it was slow paced. Gary Paulsen wrote with to much detail. The story was predictable. Some were intense and I felt bad for Brian. I would not recommend this book to people who like action pack books.
