Lauren Pointer writes the following about Hatchet :

I think this book is exstream about Brian because Brain got rescued too early. I want to know what would happen if Brain wasn't rescued if he was still on the island.I also think that Brian is sick because he ate a foolbird.If I was Brian, I would not eat foolbirds because they have some kind of illness.I would only eat berries and fish. I think Brian would have a hard time on the island.
