Maddy writes the following about Freak The Mighty :
Freak The Mighty was a great book. It is all about a kid named Maxwell Kane and his life. Max is very big for his age and isn?t that intelligent. But that all changes when he meets Freak. Freak (Kevin) is a 13-year old boy who is very short for his age. He might have a small body but he sure has a big brain. Together, Max and Freak become Freak The Mighty. The problems begin when Max?s dad Killer Kane, gets out of jail. Bigger problems come at the end of the book. If you want to find out what happens to Max and Freak?you better read this book! This book is about friendship, bravery and is full of adventure. Rodman Philbrick?s writing style is complete with some humor, action and more. There isn?t many difficult words in Freak The Mighty. This is why I think Freak The Mighty is a great book.
