The main character is Luke. He is a shadow child in a society that only allows two children per family. It could mean certain death at the hands of the dreadful population police. Luke has learned to hide from them. The setting is around our time. They have TV in color and pc?s. He has to stay inside. He cannot go outside like you and me.
Among the Hidden has a sequel Among the Impostors. It is about some of the same people. It adds some new characters. The setting is different. I rate this book a 10. It keeps me interested. What will happen at the rally? Will he go or stay? It is all up to him to decide.
