188 pgs.
Fiction

The main character, Leo, goes to a school that isn?t the most spirited school. Then a new girl starts attending school. This girl, Stargirl, is very eccentric and a complete individual. Stargirl somehow changes school spirit at the school. Weird things start happening such as the basketball team starts winning. Unfortunately, people start to dislike her because they think that she is a fake.
Leo starts to like Stargirl and they eventually become a couple. Leo was very popular until he started to date her. He actually tried to change her personality, but didn?t succeed. They eventually broke up because he wanted to be popular, but it was a big mistake for his part.

The main idea of the book is to be yourself. Don?t let anyone change who you are because then you aren?t being true to yourself. I like the writing style because it makes me feel like I am part of the story. Most of the characters are your usual teenagers, but Stargirl is the weird one.

I rate this book a 5 out of 10. I liked the book, but I didn?t like it. I thought the beginning was boring because it started out too slow. This book was also interesting/weird so it made me want to finish it.
