Kato_TLN writes the following about Summer of the Monkeys :
Summer of the Monkeys

In this book you follow young Jay Berry Lee, an adventurous young boy who never gets tired of exploring the river bottoms of the Oklahoma Ozarks. On what seems to be a perfect day for exploring some more Jay Berry discovers some monkeys in the bottoms so he tells his grandpa who tells him that those monkeys escaped from a circus and there?s a big reward for them, two dollars for the little monkeys and one hundred dollars for a big smart chimpanzee named Jimbo. In my opinion, the book was kind of short and it never spent enough time talking about his crippled sister Daisy although the author wrote abunch of good books and this one was good too I still thought it was too short? yeah.
