Lauren_HipHopDancer_Black writes the following about The Watson's Go to Birmingham- 1963 :
This is a great book to read. Kenny is the middle child and narrator of the story. Byron is the oldest and a teenage juvenille delinquet. Joetta(Joey) is the youngest child. This story is about a family who gets called the weird Watsons because some of the stuffe that they do make people think that they are weird. In Flint, Michigan, where they live, it is very cold. Their mother is from Birmingham, Alabama and is not used to the cold weather. During one summer, their parents decide to send Byron to live with Grandma Sands, Mrs. Watson's mother, because he is so bad. Grandma Sands is very strict. This is one of the best books I have ever read.
