Sworm BookWorm writes the following about Star Girl :
Star Girl:

Star girl is the new girl at Mica high. Many of you reading this review probably know what most of the "new kids" are like. They're using shy and friendly and waiting for someone to talk to them. But Star Girl....well let me tell you she is a whole other story. Star Girl is strange in the eyes of the students of Mica High. Star Girl dresses and acts different then everyone else. Mica High isn't used to so much diversity so they ignore her and seperate themselfs from her as much as they can. Is it that Star Girl has completely different outlook on life and is wiser then us? Or is it that the students of Mica High have a picture in their minds of what normal is and cannot except change? Or is it both? In the beginning Star Girl shows up to one of the Mica High's football game which is usually deserted until Star Girl shows up and starts doing cartwheels and starts interfering with the game. Word spreads and Star Girl becomes the most popular girl in school. She even becomes a cheerleader. Mica Highschool's basketball games have always been a faliure in past years but suddenly their score starts jetting up and they are in the finals. Star Girl, a cheerleader, was always known for cheering for the other team which got her blamed for jinxing the score and making the basketball team a faliure again. This made Star Girl's popularity drop. Read the book to find out more about Star Girl and what happened in the book. It is a great book and it's enjoyable for people of all ages...suggested ages 8-12. Thank you hope you read the book!
