Holes is a epic novel about a kid named Stanley who has been convicted for stealing a famous baseball players shoes. However, this trouble has given him a choice to go to jail or go to camp greenlake a place where Stanley has never been b4 because his family is poor. As you get to the climax of the novel, you can never put down this book as it begins to get interesting with outlaws like Kissin Kate Barlow,her pendant, blaming dirty rotten pig stealing grandfather etc. Louis Sachar has provided a good story and has gotten lots of credit. Don't be sure to miss this epic novel and its creative characters like a yellow spotted lizard and a friend named Zero.
