This is a book about a girl named ella, who was cursed at birth that she always had to be obedient. As she grows older she feels the curse more and more effecting her. She meets the prince and they become friends, and start to fall in love. She escapes and avoids a lot of bad things, until finally she ends the curse.
I really liked this book because when Ella was happy then i felt happy and when she was sad i was sad, when she was mad i was mad. Gail Carson Levine is a really wonderful writer, and i love reading this book!
