Abbey Martella writes the following about Hating Alison Ashley :
Hating Alison Ashley, in my opinion, is joy to read. From hilarious Erica and her family, to intriguingly perfect Alison Ashley, this is a book that anyone from any age group would enjoy. There?s comedy, and best of all, jealousy. You just can?t put this book down; you always want to know how Erica ?Yuk? Yukon reacts to Miss Perfect Alison. I, myself, don?t usually like these types of books, but I loved this one. It all starts off when there is a new student attending Barringa East Primary School, named Alison Ashley, who turns Erica?s world upside down. That?s when the jealousy really begins, Erica trying to win over Alison Ashley, with her addictive charm. But trying to impress the teachers pet isn?t what is expected, Erica soon finds out. Robin Klein tells this amazing story with breathtaking drama, envious jealousy and just the right amount of comedy, to make anyone who reads this fall into the spell of beautiful Erica; anyone who reads this would be well satisfied. I give this book a 10/10. Absolutely fantastic and guaranteed to put a smile on your face! By Abbey Martella VIC
