Pete writes the following about Harry Potter :
I reckon that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is an excellent book though the beginning just keeps going on and on at the Dursleys house. Thats why I give it 9.5 instead of 10. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is about a boy named Harry Potter who had become an orphan when his parents were murdered by Voldemort who is one of the most evil and powerful wizards ever. On Harry's holiday Harry performs the patronus charm to save Harry and his cousins Dudleys lives from Dementors. But of course he has broken the law and is sent to court but was found innocent because you are allowed to use magic outside of school if your life is threatened. When Harry arrives at Hogwarts they find that their new defence against the dark arts teacher won't allow them to use magic. So Harry, Hermioney and Ron form a club called Dumbledore's army, where Harry teaches them defence against the dark arts. Unfortunately Dumbledore was kicked out of the school and their defence against the dark arts teacher becomes principal. After that it was not long before Dumbledore's army was found out. Towards the end of the book Dumbledore and Voldemort get into a fight which ends in a draw because Voldemort flees. When they get back to school Dumbledore tells Harry about his past and his future.
