Hannah Hale writes the following about Street Child :
Street Child is a true story about a young boy in the Victorian era. Jim (the main character) is about ten years old and is left to fight for survival when his mother becomes ill and suddenly dies. I would give this book an 8/10 and I think it is quite well written and it keeps you reading.
The other main characters are called Shrimps, Nick and Rosie. I like this book - it is brilliant.
