Avery Parker writes the following about Mississippi Trial, 1955 :
This book is a great one. Not only does it show how segregation hurt the South, it shoes how it affected a little white boy. The murder itself was a horrible thing. The boy was 14 years old. This book helps students open their eyes to our nations history, however ugly it is. Its about time we have a book that helps explain the importance of the Emmitt Till trial.
