Rico writes the following about The Outsiders :

As a sophmore in high school my English teacher required me to read this book and as a usual thing I am not into reading, at all. This book was different however, this was one of those books that start out right from the begining intense and then hardly ever slows down. Although I don't know if I would recommend it for very young children, the book goes into drugs(all legal) and gang fights, to pulling knives, to killing people. For an adult or a teen this is a great read, and I would personally give this one a recommendation to anyone old enough to enjoy and understand this great book! If you are like me and really enjoy it there is also a movie which I haven't had a chance to watch just yet.
