B.M writes the following about The Child Called It :
"A child called it" is a great book and i strongly recomend that you read it! This book tells how david has to strugle to survive at his own home-his mother was always drunk and loved to play mean and gross games with David that nearly left him dead on many accounts. David's only saviour is his father and he is not there to help him all the time as he is a fire fighter and works in New York.

Towards the end of "A Child Called It" David is saved by one of his teachers from the school that he atteneds. David is then free. He is free from his drunken mother once and for all. David never has to return to her again.

This is a great book and i would rate it 10/10 it is that great! although it is a sad book it tells you how one boy had the courage to survive.
