Jboog(b2k) writes the following about Nzingha :
I really enjoyed this book I think its something everybody she read once in their lifetime. It gives you great details about history and tells you things you may not have really known. It takes place in Angola, Africa in 1595 leading on to the 1600's. Nzingha, the main character, is a warrior queen of matamba. Her father is fighting the Portuguese to drive them away so they want take away there land. She is proud that her father is leaving to fight for there land so she stays and watches over her family. You could explain Nzingha as having guy features because ahe can fight like a guy shoot like a guy but yet at the same time she still stays in her place as a girl. Nzingha is the kinda girl who is not afraid of challenges and is not afraid to stand up for what she belives in. Kifunji,Nzingha sister, thinks Nzingha is a funny girl but still belives in her because she knows that shes a brave girl. Alot of trails and trivuilation go on and out through out this book ,but if u like adventurious people and warriors i think you will enjoy this book just as much as I did.
