Courtney writes the following about Pictures of Hollis Woods :

This book is about Hollis woods, a foster child who's mother left her when she was a baby. She moved from foster home to foster home but can't seem to find the right one. She always runns away from her problems, that is until she stayed with the Regans. But that didn't last long, she lost that family when they moved to their winter home for the winter. Then she ffound Josie, a retired art teacher who loved art just like Hollis. Then when the foster agensity tries to put Hollis into another family when they find out Josie is loosing her mind. Hollis doesn't want to go into another home, but the agensity won't let her stay. Will she run away again, or will she find another way to stay with Joses? Read it and find out.
