tori writes the following about To Kill a Mockingbird :
i thought that the comparision between the mockingbird and tome Robinson was very inlighting. I mean to compare how this man was doing nothing wrong and just helping out Mayella, just like a mockingbird sings to everyone. I mean how this man was accused of rap and everyone believes the Ewells just because they are prejudice and they dont want to listen to it themselves yet they are shooting a mockingbird which is something that was sinful. Even though the blacks and the whites were supposed to be equal nobody believed that Tom Robinson was a mockingbird just helping people with chores while a mockingbird sings it's lovely song. i think the story is something that everybody should read.
