Bianca writes the following about The Child Called It :
I think this book is great. When my best friend Justina told me to read it i was amazed that a young boy could take all of that. Also i cryed every time i read it.I read that book each year.Even the lost boy.Ever time i reads it i did a book report.I feel so sorry that a little boy had to go through that.Hes mother is so mean. I think his dad should of took him because she hite him so much and not the other. To me i would of told the school the first time when she told me to lie.Any way i think the family that took him was so nice to do that . Thats how i feel about that story. Also it made me tell my mom sorry for every thing i did.The think that got me mad was that she put the stove on and he was on top. That is so scary.Iam so happy he is still alive i give him creadit for taking all of that.Thats how i feel about this story.
